Asociación por los Derechos Civiles (ADC) is an NGO based in Buenos Aires that seeks to contribute to establish a judicial and institutional culture that would guarantee the fundamental rights of the Argentinean people based on the values of the national constitution. In 2015, ADC created the Freedom of Expression and Privacy unit (ADC Digital), which is part of the Cyber Stewards Network. Right after its creation, the unit’s staff members of the FEP unit became aware of the need to start a reflection process that would allow them to clarify and prioritize their goals and objectives. They saw that working in evaluation and communication with DECI-2 was a great opportunity because it responded to their need. The DECI-2 mentorship focused on helping the staff of the FEP unit design a communication plan that would allow them to establish greater clarity about the objectives and the results of their communication strategies, especially about those seeking to influence public policy on digital rights. A U-FE process was undertaken in parallel to help them measure and improve the performance of their communication strategy on an on-going basis.
