EAFIT – a private university based in Medellin (Colombia) – has a research unit called “Línea I+D en Informática Educativa” (I+D unit) that has conducted applied research on the adoption of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in school education for more than 30 years. Over this period of time, EAFIT developed UBiTAG, a model through which it has reached around 100,000 students, 18,000 teachers and more than 1,200 schools (EAFIT, 2017). The I+D unit has a very strong team of evaluators with several years of experience collecting and analyzing data. However, they have experienced difficulties communicating and using the evaluation findings outside of the research team.  Through a U-FE mentorship, DECI-2 worked with EAFIT to adjust their communication practice so that it would be more engaging for field workers and other audiences beyond researchers.
