The Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (CIPIT) is a think tank and research centre based at Strathmore University in Nairobi. CIPIT seeks to contribute to African law and human rights through evidence-based research and training in intellectual property, information technology law, and policy. As part of IDRC’s Strengthening Cyber Policy Centres in the Global South initiative, DECI provides mentoring to CIPIT in Research Communication and U-FE in order to help them be more strategic in its communication and to develop evaluative thinking and adaptive management capacity.
